Potala Palace:

It is the symbol of Tibet. It was formerly the winter accommodation of the Dalai Lamas. This palace is so huge that most of Tibetan people hearts are scared of it. It is hard to believe that this 13-storey edifice containing 999 rooms is awe-inspiring and was built on a steep mountain as long ago as the seventh century. In the rooms, halls and chapels of the palace, voice gets enchanted. Touring it just like a huge maze. It makes you keep going and going.

Jokhang Monastery (Temple)

It is build in 647, is the most primitive wood-and-masonry structure still existing in Tibet. Thousands of pilgrims come here for worship everyday. Many of the pilgrims or huge followers of Buddhism prefer to come here by crawling on the ground. Mostly pilgrims show their beliefs by prostrate themselves on the ground after walking two steps and then repeat the process again and again. Many others were spinning prayer wheels too.
